How It Works

    Create your account

    Sign up at vibehelping.com/signup. Accounts are created on the website, not in the extension.

    Install the extension

    Click Add to Chrome, then pin VibeHelping to your toolbar and log in from the popup.

    Add the page you want to review

    Open the page, open the extension popup, and click "+ Add Current Page". Then click "Enable" on that project.

    Select an element and comment

    Click the select button in the Comments sidebar, then click any element on the page. Type your feedback and click "Add Comment".

    Invite your team

    Open the project on the website and invite teammates by email. Everyone sees the same pins, threads, and replies.

Frequently asked questions

Why can I not sign up in the extension?

Signup includes a security check that only runs on the website. Create your account at vibehelping.com/signup, then log in from the extension popup.

The sidebar or pins do not show on my page. What do I check?

Make sure the page is added as a project and that the project shows "Comments active on this page" in the popup. The project URL must match the page address, without query strings or anchors. Then reload the page.

Does VibeHelping work on every website?

It works on normal websites in desktop Chrome, including local development servers. Chrome does not allow extensions on its own pages, such as chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store.

How do I reply to a comment or mark it done?

Click "Reply" on a comment to start a thread. Tick the checkbox to mark it done. Done comments hide from the list, and "Show completed comments" brings them back.

How do I send feedback to an AI tool or script?

Open the project on the website. "Export" downloads every comment with its element selector as JSON. "Copy as prompt" copies the same feedback as text you can paste into an AI assistant.

Who can see my comments?

Only you and the people you invite to that project. Comments are not public.

Can I use dark mode?

Yes. Use the moon or sun button in the extension popup. The sidebar follows the same theme.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings and use the delete account option. This removes your account and the projects you own.
